Records of Wells

Descriptions of wells visited in Sherman County are given in Table 10. All information classed as reported was obtained from the owner or tenant. Depth of wells not classed as reported were measured and are given to the nearest tenth of a foot below the measuring point described in the table. Depths to water level not classed as reported were measured and are given to the nearest hundredth of a foot. The well-numbering system used in this table is described [in the introduction].
